The McLeod Prayer Shawl Ladies will be crocheting, knitting, sewing or quilting small items to add to our Welcome Gift Bags which we hope to hand out to our church's visitors in the months ahead. Items will hopefully include hand-made bookmarks, coffee mug warmers, flower or seasonal pins, etc.
We plan to make 12 bags each six months (I KNOW!!! We haven't had that many visitors in 5 years!!! However, I have hope and faith and a really cute pattern for a floral pin that I'm just dying to try!)
The project should cost about $55 every six months. If you are not able to make something to add to the gift bags, perhaps you might consider donating toward them.
This will be our hand-craft emphasis for January.

McLeod Prayer Shawl Meetings 2013
All meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend. The chart below shows the definite dates of the 2013 meetings and tentative ideas about what we will be doing.
Meetings are held at McLeod Presbyterian Church

The room is the last Sunday School Room behind the sanctuary.
Please come with your knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, finished projects, unfinished projects, and be prepared to visit with us during our time together. We have plenty of yarn you may use, and many knitting needles and various patterns. Please bring your own scissors.
You may wish to bring something to drink or snack on. (a note from our sponsors - no smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises)
We would ask that you turn your cell-phones and other tech devices off during the meeting. Please limit the amount of perfume or hand lotion you might normally wear.
Dress is casual. Our ladies will be coming straight from work or home.
